I’m a writer and editor. I’m somewhat of an artist and curator; artist-adjacent in many roles. As a cofounder of TUO TUO artist-led project space and residency in Joutsa, Finland—a great deal of my work and collaborations flow through the place and its community. With 15+ years of experience in New York and Finland, my interdisciplinary work hones in on the power of narrative, how it shapes reality and meaning. 

Subverting traditional notions of spirituality, art, economy and self-help, my practice is heavily grounded in amateurism, collaboration, experimenting with mutual-aid models and (re)distribution of resources and knowledge(s) via TUO TUO’s programme, rewilding gardens and forests, various publishing projects and in-house music label, True Aether. Queer ecofeminism, storytelling, conscious mirroring, human design, hypnosis, socialist herbalism, gardening and conservation, foraging and copious grant-writing are all a part of my creative practice. Across these modes, I’m committed to developing frameworks that support autonomy, challenge the commodification of spiritual and artistic labor and foreground distributed, anti-extractive practices. I treat every output not as a container, but as a proposition for how we might relate, read, receive and digest differently.

As with my art, it is possible to distill my life experience into three recurring, thematic narrative streams:
